Singer MARK BOALS Joins SOUL SIGN

August 28, 2012

SOUL SIGN, the Los Angeles-based band led by Swedish bassist Bjorn Englen (TONY MACALPINE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ULI JON ROTH),has announced the addition of powerhouse vocalist Mark Boals to the group's ranks.

SOUL SIGN released its full-length debut, "Life In The Dark", in the fall of 2011 and is planning to hit the road in the spring of 2013 with Boals behind the mic.

The group, which was previously fronted by LEATHERWOLF singer Michael Olivieri, made its live debut with Boals at the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles. "We had a blast and we all feel like Mark is a great fit for the band!" says Englen.

"Michael has done a great job as our singer and we would like to extend our thanks to him. He has chosen to strictly focus on his solo career, but we are still great friends and we wish him the best of luck and success!"

SOUL SIGN's current lineup is completed by Rob Math (PLAYER, SEAL) on guitar and Mike Cancino (H.O.B.P.) on drums.

SOUL SIGN's video for the song "Sign Of Your Soul", taken from the band's debut CD, can be seen below.
